Writer / Editor

DFINITY is looking for a creative, experienced, and collaborative editorial content producer to join our team and accelerate the growth of the Internet Computer blockchain. The ideal candidate is familiar with crypto and has a successful track record of creating compelling articles, blog posts, guides, newsletters, etc. to support brand, demand generation, and product marketing goals. This person will join the Communications team and partner closely with the Product, Engineering, and Growth teams to help deliver high-quality content across all channels.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the editorial director to scope and execute an end-to-end editorial content strategy and program. 
• Work as a writer as well as an editor with a team of writers — both freelance and in-house — to produce content about the Internet Computer and its developer ecosystem.
• Oversee content projects and campaigns related to brand marketing efforts.
• Manage an editorial calendar to ensure that writers consistently meet deadlines and deliverables. 
• Partner with cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Growth, etc. to accelerate awareness and adoption of the Internet Computer.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in an editorial capacity (e.g., editor, copy editor, writer, etc.).
• 3+ years experience working with and managing both freelance and in-house writers.  
• Strong track record of successful developing compelling content on-time and on-budget.
• Solid orientation within the world of blockchain and crypto.
• Creative, relentlessly focused, and able to work hard in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
