We are seeking an experienced and effective Social Media Marketing Lead to help us grow and engage our fan base. Shrapnel is the world’s first customizable extraction shooter game to bring blockchain benefits to gamers. You will be a key contributor in bringing the game, creator platform, and promotional products to market. This role is a foundational position on the marketing team. Attention to detail, creativity, leadership, and being a team player are critical to success.Â

The Job  Â
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Shrapnel's overall marketing and branding objectives.
- Manage and oversee all social media platforms, including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Discord.
- Create and Direct compelling and engaging content that aligns with the Shrapnel brand and resonates with our target audience.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns and initiatives that deliver on business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics, providing regular reports and insights to optimize performance and drive growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging platforms & best practices, identifying new opportunities to improve the effectiveness of our social media efforts.
- Monitor and respond to community feedback, inquiries, and comments in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including performance marketing, PR, and product teams, to ensure social media activities are integrated and aligned with overall company goals.
- Select and direct external teams and contractors, as needed.Â
Who Will Be a Great Fit  Â

- Minimum five (5) years of experience in Social Media Marketing in the videogame space. 
- Minimum three (3) years of experience managing marketing teams and/or external agencies. 
- Minimum three (3) videogame projects delivering measurable marketing results (e., audience size & engagement).
- Minimum of (3) years demonstrated mastery of large-scale social platforms (Twitter, Discord, Meta products, TikTok)Â
- Demonstrated proficiency of creating and directing Paid content and Organic content, with examples – including text, images, videos, and interactive elements.
- Proficient in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content scheduling tools.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Passion for gaming and familiarity with the gaming community and culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Additional certifications in social media marketing are a plus.Â

- Mastery of additional social platform marketing: Telegram, WeChat, SnapChat, Reddit
- Web3 marketing experience including collaborations and memes.Â
- Prior experience in a startup environment or small business.  
- Fluent in one or more Asian languages.Â

Additional Information Â
The base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 – $110,000 + stock shares+ tokens+ benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Â
