Who You Are:

Galaxy Onchain Trading works with teams across all of Galaxy to expand the ways in which the business leverages DeFi. We manage a prop DeFi trading book and build partnerships with protocols, chains and entities that need support onchain. We work closely with our derivatives, rates, prop and lending teams on product enhancements, and work with legal, compliance and finance teams to develop strategies around how Galaxy builds out onchain capabilities.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with design and management of proprietary DeFi strategies
• Assist in evaluation and structuring of on-chain liquidity partnerships with protocols, chains and other entities
• Develop computer models and algorithms to systematically deploy trading strategies, manage risk, and evaluate performance
• Assist in managing onchain lending book in collaboration with Treasury and Lending teams

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong academic background with Bachelor’s degree in STEM field
• Programming skills – Javascript/Typescript, Python, GoLang, Rust preferred
• Crypto savvy – background interacting with DeFi protocol and familiarity with DeFi primitives including lending & AMM designs

The base salary ranges included below will be commensurate with candidate experience, expertise and local market. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. At Galaxy, we maintain a total compensation philosophy which consists of a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and equity incentives.

Base Salary Range$100,000—$130,000 USD
