During my time in venture capital, I fully independently built my own deal flow and identified trends, opportunities & potential risks. I was managing due diligence processes and agreement negotiations with all stakeholders and prepared the necessary documents for the investment committee to enable decision-making. I also worked closely together with the startups which I continued to support as a project-based consultant even after I changed positions. I helped startups in the area of finance, sales, HR, product, and internal processes. The projects included all aspects from structuring financials by creating a new business plan with detailed financials (incl. sales funnel, churn, up and down-sales) and optimizing pricing, implementing first controlling tools (tracking all expenses and compare them with the estimations), and providing a solid short- to mid-term sales strategy from identifying the right persona and finding the right approach (inbound or outbound) to set up a fitting sales process and a sales team.
