Business Development Mining

Who You Are:

This candidate will be an integral member Galaxy’s Mining Team. This person will be at the front-line and first touch point between Galaxy Mining and the rest of the Mining industry. This role is perfect for someone who is service oriented, desires a wide range of responsibilities, is enthralled with Bitcoin Mining, and desires to create deep connections with key players in the mining industry.

What You’ll Do:

• Service existing mining clients
• Own deal origination and oversee end-to-end process of bringing new mining clients into the Galaxy ecosystem, with particular focus on Galaxy’s hosting business.
• Identify new creative ways to expand the mining business.
• Act as the first touch point between Galaxy mining and other industry players. Own key industry relationships.
• Assist in contract negotiations on strategic growth priorities.
• Have a deep understanding of mining market dynamics.
• Coordinate across all areas of Galaxy’s mining team including power, operations, finance, onboarding, etc.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bitcoin Mining industry experience preferred. Understanding of mining market dynamics and economic drivers required.
• Experience in a business development or similar role
• Ability to manage many relationships while executing on internal projects
• Fantastic interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong strategic instincts and ability to execute sound judgement with limited oversight
