Senior Team Lead Engineer Crypto & DeFi

Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a Senior Team Lead - Trading Software for a top-tier client in the crypto asset management sector. This pivotal role will involve leading the technological innovation and team expansion within the IT department, focusing on both enhancing existing software and integrating new DeFi technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee all IT operations, with a specific focus on trading software.
• Strategically expand and refine software functionalities.
• Pioneer the adoption of new technologies, especially within the DeFi sphere.
• Cultivate and lead an IT team, set to expand significantly in the immediate future.
• Collaborate closely with executive leadership to ensure IT strategies are perfectly aligned with overall business objectives.
• Manage a substantial budget independently, making critical decisions on IT investments.

Required Qualifications:

• Robust software engineering experience, especially with hands-on coding and software development.
• Expertise in Go programming language; additional experience with AWS, Typescript, and Angular is advantageous.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing and growing technology teams.
• Prior experience with trading software, ideally within the crypto & DeFi sector is preferred.
• Exceptional leadership skills, emphasizing emotional intelligence and effective talent management.
• Must share a commitment to integrity, striving for excellence, and a visionary approach to technology.

Performance Metrics:

Performance will be evaluated based on software improvements, team development, and the strategic integration of new technologies. Specific goals and KPIs will be determined in collaboration with the selected candidate.

Compensation: OTE €180,000 - €200,000 net per year (EUR120k base + bonus)
