Back End Developer / Data Engineer for NFT Data Warehouse

About the role:

We are looking for a Back End Developer or Data Engineer with experience in the crypto ecosystem to help us build out our NFT Transaction Data Warehouse.

• This role is full time with an immediate start
• You will have a big impact in the NFT space by helping us build NFT search engine and data analytics
• Exceptional applicant may earn significant equity and take on a leadership role (Lead DE or CTO positions)
• You can be located anywhere in the world, as our startup is fully remote

Your responsibilities:

• Pull NFT Data from various Marketplace APIs into our centralized GCP Warehouse using Python
• Design worker tasks for automatic data retrieval
• Work closely with the Data Science team to explore the meaning and structure of the NFT Data
• Help us architect the backend of NFT products like NFT Whale alerts, smart alert triggers, and Metaverse real estate maps
• Create meaningful ontologies to unify the data across various sources
• Prioritize and organize our Data Engineering backlog through project management

The right person has :

• Strong knowledge of Python3 and SQL
• Experience in Back End Design and Software Architecture
• Experience working with third-party APIs
• Experience working in Server-less technologies in a GCP environment (eg BigQuery, CloudFunctions/Cloud Run, CloudSQL, Firebase)
• Detail oriented, able to get things done fast
• Experience in & discipline for working remotely
• Excellent written English communication skills
• Bonus: Experience in NFT, Metaverses and/or blockchain-based games
• Bonus: Experience working with ETL / ELT and Data Schedulers (Airflow, DBT, etc)
