BD/Partnership Manager

About Pine:

Role:

We are looking for a candidate with a strong interest in the blockchain, cryptocurrency and DEFI space to help us scale up our business development and partnership efforts. The candidate will be responsible for striking partnerships with decentralised exchanges, trading communities & DAOs, non-custodial wallet platforms and institutional liquidity providers. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Set business targets (KPIs) together with the management team and formulate a strategy and execution plan to achieve them
  • Manage the end-to-end business development process from researching into different types of target partners, identifying prospective targets, conducting discovery & negotiation, following up to closing deal
  • Refine existing business development workflow including enhancing the setup and adoption of CRM tools
  • Flexibility to travel globally to attend conferences and build relationship with new and existing business partners
  • Work closely with the product team to learn new product features and to provide product feedback from business partners

Requirements:

  • At least 5 + years of sales or client success experience, preferably in the digital asset or financial services space
  • Exception verbal and written professional communication in English
  • Experience in planning and managing sales strategy to a new market and niche with a successful track record selling new products to the market
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly and be able to keep abreast of latest trends in the respective industry
  • Ability to get a good understanding of technology product and financial market
  • Based in Asia preferred 

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in a newly start up organisation
  • Passionate about blockchain, cryptocurrency and DEFI space
  • Business level proficiency for other languages besides English
