CEX - Business Development Director

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development (BD) Director to lead our efforts in expanding the European/Asian market. This role requires prior experience in cryptocurrency exchanges, a strong network of industry resources, and the ability to establish partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOLs). The candidate will play a pivotal role in driving growth and enhancing the brand's presence in Europe. Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Compose the BD strategy and build the team from zero to one. 
• Develop partnerships with influencers, KOLs, and external partners to increase user acquisition, user retention, and trading volume.
• Build and manage an agent system while engaging with European/Asian KOLs and communities to drive user acquisition.
• Monitor competitors and optimize marketing strategies for the European/Asian market, including localized product improvements.
• Assist and participate in brand exposure initiatives, public relations collaborations, and industry summits to enhance the exchange's visibility.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to refine BD strategies using data-driven insights.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of BD experience or proven track record in CEX with a strong network of industry resources (mandatory).
• Proven experience in promoting within the European and Asian market, with familiarity with local user habits and agent models.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin, capable of independently handling international partnerships with excellent business negotiation skills.
• Deep understanding of exchange growth strategies, including driving trading volume, user acquisition, and ROI optimization.
