As a Data Scientist/Senior Data Scientist,  you will be working with both on chain and off chain data to drive growth strategies. Your work is crucial for identifying growth levers, optimizing marketing efforts, improving user experience, and ultimately, increasing our user base and ecosystem value!

Your Impact

• Perform predictive and prescriptive analytics to understand the behavior, preferences, segmentation, and trends of Chainlink users
• Design and conduct experiments to test growth hypotheses on user acquisition or engagement strategies. Understand the user journey, identify bottlenecks, and provide insights to improve the user experience and increase retention
• Monitor the web3 market and competitors to identify growth opportunities and challenges
• Develop and maintain metrics, data pipelines, and dashboards to guide and drive business decisions
• Utilize ML, pattern recognition, and AI to solve problems creatively

Requirements

• Strong Python coding skills for statistical analysis and ETL (e.g., data structures, data manipulation, visualization, ML like Scikit-learn, model evaluation, API requests)
• Strong SQL skills (e.g., window functions, aggregate functions, advanced joins, subqueries, CTEs, query optimization, data manipulation operations, database design (clustering, partitioning, etc.))
• Ability to develop and maintain data pipelines with tools such as dbt, Airflow
• Ability to take ownership and solve ambiguous problems
• Ability to articulate complex problems to non-technical stakeholders and senior executives

Preferred Requirements

• Degree in computer science or other related quantitative field
• Experience with experiments, e.g., A/B testing
• Familiarity with utilizing LLM for effective and creative problem solving
• Experience in the blockchain DeFi Space and working with blockchain data
• Deep focus on continuous learning
• Strong independent thinker
