ABOUT THE ROLE
Weâre hiring a DeFi Analyst and Customer Success/Account Manager (DeFi Associate) â a high-impact role that blends advanced protocol fluency, long-term investment thinking, and deep relationship management. As an Associate, youâll work directly with clients to help them navigate the on-chain ecosystem, build conviction around asymmetric opportunities, and design portfolios aligned with their goals using our proven frameworks.
This isnât a junior support role. Itâs not a passive account management job. This is an elite, hands-on role where your ability to think independently, coach decisively, and lead strategically determines the clientâs success.
Youâll meet one-on-one with clients over video, assess their current setup and mental models, and guide them through every stage of their journey â from DeFi onboarding to building a well-structured, long-term crypto portfolio. Youâll be responsible for helping clients stay focused, make better decisions, and turn the YieldSchool curriculum into real-world execution.
You must have deep and advanced knowledge of DeFi. You should be fully comfortable discussing on-chain ecosystems, liquidity provisioning, tokenomics, governance dynamics, bridging mechanics, and contract-level risk. You also need to understand capital allocation at the portfolio level â not just how DeFi works, but how to think about asymmetric risk, long-term compounding, conviction-weighted bets, and downside protection.
Youâre not just here to explain protocols. Youâre here to help clients see clearly, act intelligently, and build portfolios that actually reflect the market realities and their own goals. That takes technical fluency and strategic judgment.
Youâll also own key business outcomes. Youâre directly responsible for driving retention, renewals, and backend upgrades. Youâll be expected to identify when a client is ready for a higher-level program, lead them through that conversation, and support the sales process. Commission is earned on qualified upgrades, on top of your baseline compensation.
Beyond your one-on-one work, youâll contribute to group calls and internal initiatives â sharing insights, presenting research, and collaborating across the team to improve the member experience and refine our investment frameworks.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Deep, working knowledge of crypto and DeFi across major verticals â including on-chain ecosystems, bridges, token design, governance, staking, liquidity provisioning, yield strategies, and derivatives
- Advanced understanding of investing principles, with a strong grasp of asymmetric risk, long-term portfolio construction, and capital allocation in decentralized markets
- Clear, structured thinking around portfolio architecture: conviction-weighted exposure, downside protection, time horizon alignment, and thesis-based rebalancing
- Demonstrated ability to earn and maintain trust with high-net-worth individuals or sophisticated clients through strategic, emotionally intelligent engagement
- Exceptional communication skills â articulate, empathetic, and able to translate complex protocols or investment logic into clear, actionable guidance
- Proven experience building and managing long-term client relationships with a service-first, outcome-focused approach
- High degree of personal ownership and initiative â proactive in diagnosing needs, solving problems, and moving clients forward
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution
- Prior experience in investing, education, consulting, or financial services with a focus on client outcomes and relationship depth
- Bonus: Experience with high-ticket B2C or mid-ticket B2B sales, renewals, and referrals in trust-based business models
- Bonus: Background in DeFi research, macro analysis, or real-world application of crypto strategies across cycles
