Full Stack Developer

At InfiniFi, we’re revolutionizing finance with a fractional-reserve stablecoin, unlocking levels of capital efficiency that have historically only been accessible to banks. We recently closed an oversubscribed pre-seed fundraise and are now seeking to grow our team. We aim to realize the visions of Satoshi and DeFi alike, making banks obsolete through fundamental improvements to capital efficiency. As part of our team, you’ll be building a decentralized financial system that automates the banking process and maximizes returns by collapsing the inefficiencies of traditional banks. We seek an experienced Web3 fullstack developer to build out the technical components of our frontend and backend. You’ll be working with our frontend developer to connect their work to outcomes on our backend and Solidity stack, participating in the design, development, and deployment of our non-Solidity backend in the process. Responsibilities:

• Take raw frontend components and implement actions that accomplish desired outcomes within our frontend using either the React or Svelte Javascript frameworks
• Implement Web3 connection and interaction behaviors in our Web3 Frontend dApp
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain our non-Solidity backend
• Design and develop backend infrastructure for supporting our smart contracts
• Index smart contract operations to populate any needed databases. Design and deploy backend components to populate and query such databases
• Coordinate with our technical team to inform the design of backend and frontend components, collaborating with them to implement needed functionality
• Develop and maintain a set of unit tests to ensure that backend functionality operates as expected on a continuous basis
• Develop and maintain a set of unit tests to ensure that frontend functionality operates as expected on a continuous basis
• Keep up-to-date with latest developments in industry trends, tools, and utilize knowledge of such to improve internal workflows, both within Fullstack scope and within the broader scope of the technical team
• Document functionality of backend systems on an ongoing basis
• Implement security solutions to prevent web-based attack vectors
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to performance bottlenecks and backend resource consumption.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will be considered
• 5+ years of full-stack experience with React (or Svelte) and NodeJS
• 2+ years of Web3 Fullstack experience 
• Have a strong knowledge of software engineering design patterns and best practices
• Experience with designing and maintaining databases (SQL, MongoDB, GraphQL, etc.)
• Basic experience with cloud providers (Vercel, Railway, etc.).
• Working knowledge of basic UI development components (CSS, HTML)
• Experience collaborating within an engineering team and reviewing code
• Be able to communicate on technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development
• Familiarity with caching solutions (Redis)
• Strong personal interest in crypto and blockchain ecosystems, emphasis on DeFi 
• DevOps experience with Vercel, Cloudflare, and associated web technologies
• Strong competency in NodeJS package manager and associated building tools and configs
