Marketing Manager / CMO

As the Marketing Manager of Backed, you will build and lead the marketing and communications efforts of a fast-growing blockchain startup and create awareness and demand for Backed and its products in the crypto markets. To achieve this you will need to maintain a strong and distinguishable brand, build web/market presence through PR, social media engagement, content marketing, and strong collaborations with other blockchain projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Establish a marketing strategy and an actionable marketing plan.
• Manage day to day marketing activities.
• Create and maintain (or commission to third parties) all marketing materials and content: Websites, blog posts, articles, news updates, company presentations etc.
• Manage all  communications channels - Twitter, Medium, Telegram, Linkedin.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, etc.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management.
• Entrepreneurial spirit.
• Deep understanding of the crypto market and its internal dynamics.
• At least 2 years of experience in a bizdev/marketing/community management position in the crypto space. 
• Extensive experience in digital marketing.
• Excellent writing capabilities.
• Native English speaker.
• Ability to work remotely and be part of a global team.
