About Mimic
Mimic is building a decentralized protocol that enables anyone to automate blockchain operations without reliance on closed, centralized solutions. For the last three years, weâve operated successfully in a private setting, helping partners streamline millions of on-chain transactions. Now, weâre standardizing our protocol and opening it to the entire community, aiming for a fully permissionless launch mid this year.
The Role
Weâre looking for a Marketing Manager who can guide Mimic Protocolâs marketing strategy and help establish our brand as the top choice for on-chain automation. Youâll craft compelling narratives around our whitepaper, build a community of partners and developers, and ensure that our upcoming public release resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
What Youâll Do
- Develop & Execute Marketing Strategy: Own our end-to-end marketing plan, from high-level strategy (roadmap, positioning) to hands-on execution (campaigns, community engagement).
- Launch Coordination: Lead the marketing push around our protocolâs public release, including whitepaper promotion, website revamp, social media, and partner announcements.
- Brand Messaging & Positioning: Shape Mimicâs voice, ensuring our key differentiatorsâyears of proven results, cutting-edge techâare clearly communicated across all channels.
- Content & Thought Leadership: Oversee blog posts, newsletters, case studies, and media outreach. Collaborate with our tech team to translate complex concepts into digestible stories.
- Community & Developer Engagement: Partner with our Growth and Product teams to engage early developer adopters. Drive sign-ups, gather feedback, and cultivate a vibrant community around Mimic.
- Analytics & Growth Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like lead conversions, website traffic, developer sign-ups, and community growth. Optimize campaigns accordingly.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Growth, and Engineering to align marketing efforts with product milestones and partner integrations.
What Weâre Looking For
- Previous experience in growth marketing, product marketing, or related rolesâpreferably in Web3, DeFi, or emerging tech startups.
- Proven track record of developing and executing marketing campaigns that drove significant user growth or brand impact.
- Strong strategic thinking skills combined with a willingness to roll up your sleeves for hands-on tasks.
- Familiarity with blockchain/crypto conceptsâparticularly DeFi and the nuances of developer-focused products.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools to measure and iterate on campaigns.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skillsâcapable of translating complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives.
- Comfortable with fast-paced, lean startup environments, where priorities can shift quickly.
Bonus Points
- Experience launching developer toolkits or protocols, including building developer communities.
- Existing network in the Web3 space (partnerships, events, colleagues, etc.).
- Familiarity with automation frameworks, DeFi strategies, or multi-chain operations.
