This role is open to candidates across the world.About the OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Protocol Engineer with a strong background in Solidity development and experience in DeFi, markets, financial engineering, or mechanism design to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative protocols and writing production-ready code that enables seamless cross-chain asset transfer while maintaining high levels of security.Responsibilities• Develop bleeding edge protocols and write production-ready code for seamless cross-chain asset transfers, focusing on interoperability and safety• Conduct thorough research on existing protocols and market trends to develop new or improve existing financial products• Work as a key member of the protocol engineering team to architect, specify, and implement your research findings• Serve as an educational resource for the rest of the team, ensuring a shared understanding of technical concepts and innovations• Continuously evaluate and improve the security and efficiency of our solutions• Work closely with other engineers to integrate, test, and deploy developed protocols• Ensure the highest quality of code, adhering to best practices and industry standards.Requirements• achelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field• Strong background in DeFi, crypto communities, traditional finance products, and mechanism design• In-depth knowledge of blockchain technology and smart contract development, with a focus on Solidity programming• Proven experience in writing production-ready Solidity code for DeFi applications or protocols• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to discuss technical concepts clearly and concisely• Open-mindedness towards new ideas with a mindset of continuous learning and improvement• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentNice-to-Haves• Prior experience working on interchain liquidity solutions or cross-chain interoperability projects• Familiarity with the Ethereum, Polkadot, or Cosmos ecosystems• Experience in financial engineering, market making, or structured product designWe are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment and welcome all qualified candidates regardless of their background or experience level.
