React Native & Substrate engineer

About the product

We are creating a new blockchain for regular iOS/Android/PC games, that are not related to cryptocurrencies.

Games in an adequate time & budget will be able to issue tokens representing game assets - swords, armor, resources, etc. And it will be convenient for players to send tokens to friends or exchanges. This will make game assets transferrable. Thus, games will be able to develop their community of players, create a secondary market for game items, organize various promotions among players, etc.

Blockchain has significant advantages: free transactions for players, fast & cheap integration with games. We are working to ensure that every 10th new game released in the App Store and Google Play Market is integrated with the blockchain.

About the Job

Players will need an iOS/Android wallet to manage their tokens, which would support all the functionality of our blockchain. To do this, we are going to make a fork of the open-source non-custodial wallet SubWallet and implement all the necessary features to interact with our blockchain. Most of the changes will be in business logic of the wallet. And then release it in the AppStore / PlayMarket. You will need to create this fork of the wallet.

We're looking for a fully remote, full-time React Native engineer with the background in Substrate-based chains (Polkadot).

Your Background:

- experience with React Native +3 years;

- experience working with blockchain as an engineer. A good understanding of how the blockchain works at a low level is required: what is a blockchain node, how it works inside, how a network is formed from nodes, what data and how the node processes, etc.

- experience with Substrate-based chains (Polkadot);

- knowledge of the basics of cryptography;

- experience with Python is a big plus;
