Senior Blockchain Engineer

In addition to this our most recent testnet onboarded over 180,000 users in less than two months. We are growing rapidly and we need ambitious and experienced team members to join us and help scale Ethereum's future.About the Role:Blockchain engineers on our team are responsible for the design and implementation of foundational components of the Omni stack. This includes deep work with the Cosmos SDK, Ethereum Layer 2 rollups, and interoperability standardization while also having responsibilities to collaborate with the wider engineering team to improve our overall architecture and code quality.Blockchain engineers are focused on node software and infrastructure. However, these are not strict rules – our team is flat, and there will be opportunities to contribute across the stack.

Responsibilities:

• Develop our core software stack from the design stage all the way to production ready implementations. This development will primarily happen in golang, utilizing the Cosmos SDK.
• Design and implement a modular interoperability standard that is highly secure while also being flexible enough to incorporate future innovations in the interoperability space
• Design, build, maintain, test, and improve our node software and coordinating agents to power our distributed networks
• Improve the design of peer’s architecture through thoughtful, professionally communicated feedback.
• Write performant SDKs and documentations enabling clients to interact with the Web3 APIs
• Contribute to open source projects and play a role in building out the crypto ecosystem at large.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of experience in a backend software engineering role
• Significant experience with a systems language like Go (preferred), Rust, or C++
• Strong preference for experience with the Cosmos SDK, or a burning desire to learn it
• Extensive experience managing the software development life cycle for medium to large projects
• Experience building SDKs, APIs, or otherwise building and maintaining a production system at scale
• Experience with AWS, GCP or similar cloud providers
• Desire to keep up with modern best practices in software development and crypto, and shape our tech stack as we build out new systems and services
