Senior Front-End Engineer

Role

You are an independent self-starter eager to take ownership of major components of a growing codebase, who also enjoys working collaboratively in a remote team environment. As a senior front-end engineer, you will be a domain leader who will directly impact product direction while working closely with stakeholders and leaders from the business and marketing domains.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Engineering Lead to derive and plan technical requirements and specs of all front-end features
• Professionally engineer and assume ownership of front-end components and new features for Pine’s website and dApp
• Ensure and improve code quality and best practices by composing documentations and conducting code reviews

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in production web applications
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Redux and CSS-in-JS
• Knowledgeable in cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
• Strong understanding of multi-threading and asynchronous programming principles and best practices
• Strong Sense of UI and UX design
• Strong understanding of data structures and data parsing/caching  from RESTful and blockchain APIs
• Ability to accurately translate mockups to code

Nice-to-Haves

• Understanding of Ethereum and Solana blockchains and interaction with Web3 frameworks
• Experience with UI testing frameworks such as Jest
• Experience with build pipelines and CI/CD workflows
• Experience with back-end development in Node.js
• Experience with Docker and Docker Compose
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and resource provisioning
• Proficiency in graphic design is a huge plus
• Experience with Figma
