Senior Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team to ship core features of Absinthe.

About Absinthe:

Absinthe is a pioneer of the points-as-a-service category that enable web3 projects to quickly create sophisticated user-growth campaigns. We believe this is the first step to creating the world’s most intelligent incentives network.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new features and functionalities for our Next.js dashboard, utilizing your expertise in Next.js, Node.js, and serverless functions.
• Writing idiomatic, clean, and maintainable typescript code for serverless node.js hosted on Vercel.
• Mocking data relationships for database design / designing REST APIs in Postman.
• Ability to implement responsive frontend designs.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and guide a junior engineer to promote growth and maintain code quality.
• Implement automated testing strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage for critical components.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and technical strategy of the engineering team.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with a strong focus on Node.js and modern frontend frameworks like Next.js, preferably in the web3/crypto space.
• Understanding of web3/crypto and blockchain concepts.
• Familiarity with the following: Redis, Postgres, Vercel, Docker, Next.js, TailwindCSS, Google Cloud Platform, advanced React concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
