Senior Graphic and UX/UI Designer

OVERVIEW

Satschain is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer specialising in UX/UI to join our team on a full-time basis. As a crucial member of our design team, you will be instrumental in crafting seamless and visually captivating user experiences for our products and digital platforms. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design visually appealing graphics for digital media, including but not limited to websites, social media assets, marketing collateral, and presentations.
• Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to understand project requirements and translate them into design concepts that align with brand guidelines and target audience preferences.
• Create wireframes, mockups and prototypes for web and mobile applications, collaborating closely with developers to ensure seamless translation into functional designs.
• Lead the holistic design approach, ensuring user-centric interfaces that prioritise optimal usability and engagement, while maintaining brand consistency through typography, colour theory, and storytelling across Satschain's products and digital platforms.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs to improve user experience.
• Generate compelling graphics and visual content for Satschain's social media channels, tailoring designs to resonate with target audiences and platform aesthetics that align with Satschain's brand identity.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in graphic design, UI/UX design, and digital marketing to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.

REQUIREMENTS 

• Self Starter
• Proven track record of 10+ years of experience as a graphic designer with a focus on UX/UI or a similar role
• Demonstrated experience with successful wireframes translated into websites is required.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software and other AI tools (As required)
• Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles, including wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
• Excellent grasp of typography, colour theory, and branding fundamentals.
• Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, ranging from UX/UI design, branding, and social media graphics.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, communicating design concepts and rationale clearly.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple internal projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
