- Job Overview:
- This is a remote contract role for a skilled and experienced Technical Analyst/Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Appchains, Rollups, NodeJS, and EVM Smart contracts with a keen interest in the evolving Web3 and crypto landscape. This role involves developing the backend and guiding Layer 2 Rollups and Appchains that Layer Labs is incubating through their technical decisions.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Technical aptitude to explain the differences and guide Layer Labs customers through choosing different technical stacks (Execution, Data Availability, and Settlement/Consensus) based on their custom needs
- Writing, testing, and enhancing Solidity/EVM smart contracts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop dApps for L2 chains and Appchains
- Stay updated with the latest trends in Web3, crypto DApps, and blockchain technology
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Qualifications:
- Fluent in English
- Crypto Native
- Comfortable working in early-stage startups
- Knowledge of forking code such as Uniswap, Aave, Maker, etc is a plus
- Expert understanding of App-Chains/Rollups/Modular Blockchains
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
