UI/UX Designer

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our rapidly growing team of cryptocurrency enthusiasts and blockchain engineers. We are building the Subspace Network, a radically decentralized, next-generation blockchain that scales far beyond existing designs. To learn more, visit our website and read the technical whitepaper.As our UX/UI Designer, you will work with our product team to create user interfaces and experiences for our community tools. These tools include the Block Explorer, the Farmer app, status dashboards, developer-oriented examples, and documentation pages. Your job is to make sure the designs meet our users' needs and follow our brand guidelines.This is a part-time, remote, contract-based role. We expect a commitment of 20/30 hours each week, delivering engineering-ready UI components and meeting the agreed-upon deadlines. In this role you will:

• Work closely with the product team to understand the product vision and roadmap.
• Create design concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs for the product using Figma as the primary design tool.
• Ensure designs meet user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility requirements.
• Participate in sprint planning meetings to prioritize design work based on product goals and timelines.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that designs are technically feasible and implemented correctly.
• Leverage data and community feedback to iterate on existing designs and identify new opportunities for improvement.
• Develop a design system that aligns with the company's branding guidelines and is flexible enough to evolve with the product.
• Participate in regular product review meetings to ensure the design aligns with the product vision and goals.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a product designer or a similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing user interfaces and user experiences for dashboards and software tools, using Figma as the primary design tool.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and community.
• Experience with blockchain technology is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, time management, and time reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality designs on time and budget.
