YOUR IMPACT & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ideate strategies and algorithms to run Alpacaâs Automated Vault (AV) product profitably
- Lead analysis efforts, including backtests, to verify hypotheses and potential new strategiesÂ
- Monitor operations and identify improvement areas based on live AV performance
- Work with the Head of Product to define necessary guardrails and risk-mitigation parameters
- Work with the engineering team to define the required functions and execution processes of the vaults
- Explore and suggest new yield generation strategies
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in market making or algorithmic trading
- Good understanding of the Automated Market Maker (AMM) function, including the concept of Concentrated Liquidity (CL)
- Basic understanding of DeFi protocols and ecosystems
- Proficient in scripting language for backtesting
- Strong research and analytical mindset with an open-minded attitude
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment
