Role

We are on the lookout for a seasoned Managing Editor to join our client’s team. This pivotal role involves leading an editorial team, refining content strategy, and ensuring the highest journalistic standards across all publications. The ideal candidate will bring a robust editorial background with specific expertise in finance, technology, or cryptocurrency news.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and enforce editorial standards and policies to ensure content integrity and relevance.
• Manage and develop a diverse editorial team, encouraging a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Plan and oversee the editorial calendar to sync with broader business goals.
• Stay abreast of industry trends to ensure coverage is proactive and comprehensive.
• Review and approve content, maintaining high standards for accuracy and engagement.
• Coordinate content production timelines to guarantee timely publication.
• Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to enhance content visibility and reader engagement.
• Recruit, onboard, and train editorial staff.
• Utilize analytics to steer content strategies and enhancements.
• Act as a brand ambassador at industry events and in media appearances.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an editorial leadership role, preferably in finance, tech, or crypto media.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire editorial teams.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills in English.
• Proficient in SEO, social media, and content management systems.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong passion for and knowledge of the cryptocurrency sector.
• Ideally Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
