Remote Web3 Talent Acquisition Jobs in New York, United States

About ChainlinkChainlink is the industry-standard oracle platform bringing the capital markets onchain and powering the majority of decentralized finance (DeFi). The Chainlink stack provides the essential data, interoperability, compliance, and privacy standards needed to power advanced blockchain use cases for institutional tokenized assets, lending, payments, stablecoins, and more. Since inventing decentralized oracle networks, Chainlink has enabled tens of trillions in transaction value and now secures the vast majority of DeFi.

Many of the world’s largest financial services institutions have also adopted Chainlink’s standards and infrastructure, including Swift, Euroclear, Mastercard, Fidelity International, UBS, S&P Dow Jones Indices, FTSE Russell, WisdomTree, ANZ, and top protocols such as Aave, Lido, GMX and many others. Chainlink leverages a novel fee model where offchain and onchain revenue from enterprise adoption is converted to LINK tokens and stored in a strategic Chainlink Reserve. Learn more at chain.link.

We are looking for an experienced Executive Recruiter to lead complex, high-impact searches across our global organization. You will partner directly with executive leaders to identify, assess, engage, and hire exceptional senior talent, with a particular focus on Director+ and executive-level roles across both technical and business functions.

This is a highly hands-on role. You will personally own searches from initial scoping through close, combining rigorous research and sourcing with excellent stakeholder management, assessment, candidate experience, and execution. You will also help strengthen how we approach executive hiring more broadly, building practices, frameworks, and processes that improve the quality and consistency of executive recruiting across the organization.

Your Impact

• Own and personally deliver global executive and senior leadership searches across technical and business functions, taking accountability for quality, pace, and outcomes throughout the search.

• Partner directly with executive leaders to shape role scopes, candidate profiles, search strategies, assessment approaches, and compensation discussions.

• Act as an influential talent advisor, bringing external market perspective and challenging assumptions where needed to improve hiring decisions.

• Build comprehensive talent maps and candidate pipelines using multiple channels, including direct sourcing, executive networks, referrals, advisors, researchers, and external search firms.

• Develop clear, concise, and high-quality search documentation, including briefing materials, market maps, candidate profiles, pipeline reporting, and executive updates.

• Build and evolve executive recruiting practices, assessment frameworks, and processes that can be adopted consistently across the organization.

• Deliver a thoughtful, high-touch candidate experience while maintaining the rigor required for complex executive hiring processes.

• Develop trusted networks with senior leaders and executives globally, creating an ongoing source of market intelligence, referrals, and future candidates.

• Partner effectively across a globally distributed organization, balancing urgency and an execution-focused mindset with thoughtful decision-making and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Significant experience personally delivering complex, multi-source executive searches within fast-paced technology organizations, including senior technical leadership hiring.

• A track record of successfully hiring Director, VP, and/or C-level talent across multiple functions.

• Demonstrated experience partnering directly with executive leaders as an influential advisor, including shaping role scopes, search strategies, assessment approaches, and compensation discussions.

• Strong ownership mentality with a bias toward execution and a track record of delivering high-quality searches at pace.

• Exceptional attention to detail and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex searches into concise, decision-useful executive updates and candidate materials.

• Experience developing executive recruiting processes, practices, and assessment frameworks that have been adopted more broadly within an organization.

• Experience delivering executive searches across multiple international markets, ideally including North America and Europe.

• A strong track record of balancing rigorous, multi-stage executive hiring processes with an excellent candidate experience.

• Ability to operate effectively in an asynchronous, globally distributed environment and maintain momentum across multiple complex searches.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience partnering with founders and/or founder-led leadership teams on executive hiring strategy.

• Experience within Web3, blockchain, crypto, Capital Markets, Fitech or another highly technical and rapidly evolving industry.

• Demonstrated ability to combine multiple talent intelligence sources—including direct research, executive referrals, advisors, researchers, and search firms—to develop a comprehensive view of a market and its strongest talent.

• A strong existing network of executives and senior technology leaders.

• Experience building or materially improving an executive recruiting capability within a scaling organization.
