Software Engineer

My background is a bit unique: I studied physics at Florida State University, where I was first introduced to programming. I had a senior research project on particle physics, where I created particle tracking algorithms in C++, mixed with an introduction of server/Linux operations for data handling.

I then began my career by joining the US Navy, and becoming an officer on nuclear submarines for 6 years. This provided me with strong project management and leadership/people skills.
