We are looking for a skilled Backend Software Developer with expertise in Node.js to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality backend services and APIs, ensuring a seamless integration with our front-end systems. This fully-remote position offers the opportunity to play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our backend services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js.
- Design and develop database schemas that accurately reflect and facilitate our business processes.
- Integrate server-side logic to the user-facing components built by front-end developers.
- Implement modern and secure authentication methods (OAuth, JWT).
- Contribute to the improvement of code quality through writing unit tests, automation, and performing code reviews.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer, specifically with Node.js and its associate frameworks such as Express.js.
- Solid expertise in using cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, and others).
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational database management systems.
- Experience designing and deploying high-performance applications.
- Familiarity with Swagger, Postman.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Experience with Web3.js, Ethers.js and other Web3 libraries.
- Working knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with DevOps workflow/principles, building CI/CD pipelines.
