Beraborrow is actively contributing to the Berachain ecosystem by providing interest-free loans backed by iBGT through our Nectar stablecoin. Our stablecoin is the first of its kind on Berachain, fully collateralized by iBGT, and plays a significant role in the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector. Our goal is to make financial services accessible, secure, and efficient for all, pushing the boundaries of finance with blockchain technology.
We are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer with a focus on blockchain technology to join our team at Beraborrow. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing the technical framework of our lending platform. This position requires proficiency in Solidity and experience in developing decentralized applications (dApps). The role involves collaboration with our team to improve the platform's smart contracts, user interfaces, and overall reliability and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain smart contracts on Berachain for our Nectar stablecoin and loan products using Solidity.
- Work with the product team to design and implement new features that increase user interaction and the utility of the platform.
- Lead the development of the platform's front end, utilizing frameworks such as React/Nextjs to deliver a user-friendly experience.
- Integrate blockchain functionalities with traditional web technologies for comprehensive full-stack development.
- Stay updated with DeFi developments to continually refine our offerings.
- Perform extensive testing and security audits to ensure smart contract security and platform integrity.
- Offer technical support, resolve problems, and guarantee the platform operates efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Solidity, with a history of developing and deploying smart contracts on mainnet.
- Solid background in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and frameworks like React/Nextjs.
- Familiarity with blockchain interaction libraries (e.g., web3.js, ethers.js).
- Deep understanding of the Berachain ecosystem and DeFi applications.
- Knowledge of smart contract development environments (e.g., Truffle, Hardhat, Foundry).
- Proficiency in Git, with experience in CI/CD practices and contemporary deployment strategies.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity for independent work.
- Experience with unit tests and smart contract security best practises such as fuzzing
- Effective communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
