About the job
They are expanding and growing our team and looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated Business Developer, specialized in crypto derivatives trading and focusing on the US market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for crypto derivatives products in the US market. Identify and prioritize key opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Partnership Development: Forge strategic partnerships with institutional investors, fintech companies, and other relevant entities to drive adoption and liquidity of our derivatives offerings.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, regulatory changes, and competitive insights relevant to crypto derivatives. Utilize this information to adapt strategies and product offerings accordingly.
- Product Collaboration: Work closely with the product team to relay market feedback and insights. Contribute to the development of new features and products that meet the needs of US clients.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all business development activities comply with relevant US regulations and laws pertaining to crypto derivatives. Stay abreast of regulatory changes and guide the company in navigating the regulatory landscape.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals. Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business development or a similar role, with at least 2 years focused on cryptocurrency, fintech, or financial services. Prior experience with derivatives products and a proven track record of successful partnerships and project management in the crypto or financial sectors is highly preferred. Significant experience in engaging with and leveraging Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the cryptocurrency space to enhance brand visibility and product adoption.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the cryptocurrency industry, especially derivatives markets. Familiarity with US financial regulations and compliance standards related to cryptocurrencies. Extensive network of contacts among KOLs, influencers, and thought leaders in the crypto and financial industries.
- Skills: Exceptional negotiation, strategic planning, and project management skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to effectively engage and collaborate with KOLs and external partners. Proficient in data analysis, market research, and leveraging social media platforms for business development purposes.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Personal Attributes: Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record of achieving business growth targets. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key industry players and influencers. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving industry landscape.
