Business Development Associate

As a Business Development Associate at Backed Finance, you will have a key-role in growing our network of distributors and partners in both crypto and traditional finance worlds. You will be joining an exceptional team in a fast growing startup set to transform global capital markets. You will be an integral team member and will directly support the Head of Business Development.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Grow Backed’s ecosystem of distributors and partners.
• Strategically conduct and manage outreach campaigns and initiatives to generate qualified leads and prospects. Create and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Prospect among exchanges, market makers, trading firms, funds to identify new partners. 
• Qualify and respond to inbound requests.
• Lead sales pitches, develop offers and proposals addressing partners’ needs, concerns and objectives. You will own the whole sales cycle.
• Improve internal processes and systems.
• Represent Backed at industry events and conferences to promote our brand and build awareness.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of traditional and crypto finance markets.
• Experience in crypto, venture, trading, M&A, financial services or fin-tech.
• Hands-on attitude.
• Entrepreneurial spirit.
• A high standard of English, both verbal and written.
• Excellent sales, pitching, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work remotely and be part of a global team.
