Compliance Analyst (Law Enforcement Response)

About the role: The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for supporting Crypto.com’s regulated businesses in their global regulatory compliance obligations. Candidate must be a self-starter who exhibits a strong passion for financial innovation, who enjoys working cross-functionally and collaboratively to solve complex problems and is excited about Crypto.com’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that global law enforcement cases, civil/criminal subpoenas, and other governmental or legal investigation requests, are evaluated and handled in strict accordance with our policies, internal guidelines, and applicable laws;
• Review documents (law enforcement requests, civil/criminal subpoenas and other governmental or legal investigation requests) and extract data to satisfy the request in a timely manner;
• Understand and maintain proficient knowledge of our systems, tools and data to be able to extract requested data; 
• Work cross-departmentally with various global teams to respond to requests in a timely manner;
• Assist with regulatory escalations from customer support;
• Assist with license management, as needed;
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• 1-3 years compliance experience in the financial services industry;
• University degree; 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills;
• Ability to work independently and in a global team;
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of digital assets, fintech, prepaid and lending products will be advantageous;
• Understanding of anti-money laundering regulations and payments laws within the banking/financial services industry will be advantageous
