About Algomint
Algomint is the next generation blockchain bridging infrastructure on Algorand. It was founded by serial entrepreneurs Michael Cotton and AJ Milne of Meld Ventures in early 2021 to increase accessibility to the Algorand blockchain. Today, it has grown into a $60 million business that plays a central role in the Algorand DeFi ecosystem. The Algomint MainNet officially launched in November, opening a new chapter of fast expansion with exciting roadmaps and commercial aspirations to deliver.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organised customer and community support to join our growing team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support via zendesk to clients using our platform. You will be required to familiarise yourself with our product, respond to queries, determine and implement solutions as well as create and maintain chat bots and a customer service resource database.
Help Desk Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through our Zendesk portal
- Provide assistance and support for incoming concerns and issues related to the Algomint platform.
- Forward technical concerns to relevant parties
- Ask educated questions and listen to customers to determine the root cause of issues
- Work through the problem-solving process with customers, empowering them to do the same in the future
- Report significant and recurring issues to our technical team in a timely manner
- Collect feedback to determine patterns and issues to make recommendations on process optimisation to improve efficiency and customer experience
- Keep up-to-date with latest media and technical materials related to the Algomint product and company initiatives, provide relevant documents to customers where useful
- Help build and maintain chat bots and a customer service database channeling relevant questions to Zendesk
- Share experiences with colleagues and help train new staff through their onboarding
Zendesk Requirements and Qualifications
- Good command of written English, with proper grammar and communication style
- Customer service or sale experience preferred
- An understanding of or interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology
- Familiar with Zendesk or other CRM systems with technical knowledge and configuration skills
- Ability to build/implement chat bots and resource databases
- Keen attention to detail and an interest in customer support and service
- Warm and compassionate personality
Social media presence
- The successful applicant will be required to monitor Algomint social media channels including Telegram, Reddit, Twitter and Discord.
- Interact responsibly and professionally with the community
- Keep open communication with community moderators and management at all times
- Seek advice from other moderators and management for complex issues
- Must remain calm and responsive when dealing with difficult customers.
