Data Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in extracting, cleaning, and analyzing data to inform strategic decisions and foster our growth in the web 3 space. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong background in data analysis, exceptional visualization skills, and a proven portfolio. You will play a critical role in navigating the complexities of startup environments and the evolving landscape of web 3 technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Management: Efficiently extract, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure its readiness for analysis.
• Analysis and Insights: Conduct comprehensive data analysis to derive actionable insights that support strategic decisions and contribute to our vision of maximizing value for all people and communities.
• Visualization Mastery: Create compelling and intuitive visualizations that clearly communicate complex data findings to stakeholders across the organization.
• Innovation and Strategy: Continuously seek out innovative data analysis methods and tools to enhance our capabilities and maintain our competitive edge in the web 3 ecosystem.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and lead projects that enhance our data analytics framework.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data analysis, web 3, and startups, applying this knowledge to drive forward our mission.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within web 3 and startup environments. A strong portfolio showcasing your skills in data visualization and analysis.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Jupyter Notebooks, Python, and SQL.  Understand Graph databases, Neo4j, Grafana, and data presentation layers.  Familiarity with additional data analysis tools and software is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable insights.
• Visualization Skills: Adept at creating data visualizations that are both informative and compelling. Proficiency in visualization tools and software (Grafana) 
• Self-Starter: Demonstrated ability to initiate and manage projects independently, from conception to completion.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
