Finance Manager

The Role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to oversee Plasma’s financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting and analytical skills with a deep understanding of crypto finance, treasury, and tokenomics. This is an in-person role predominantly, and we strongly prefer candidates based in New York City.

What you will do

• Financial Planning & Analysis. Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling across all business units. Partner with leadership to align capital allocation with strategic priorities and measure financial performance.

• Accounting & Reporting. Oversee monthly and quarterly close processes, reconciliations, and consolidated financial statements for both fiat and crypto holdings. Maintain accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).

• Treasury & Digital Asset Management. Manage on-chain and off-chain treasury operations, including liquidity planning, wallet management, and transaction reconciliations.

• Compliance & Risk Oversight. Collaborate with Plasma’s General Counsel to ensure financial compliance across jurisdictions, including KYC/AML controls, audit readiness, and tax reporting obligations.

Who you are

• 4 to 6 years in finance, accounting, or FP&A, ideally within high-growth tech, fintech, or crypto organizations.

• Deep understanding of digital asset accounting, treasury operations, and blockchain fundamentals. Familiar with crypto wallets, exchanges, and on-chain reporting.

• Skilled in financial modeling and analytics.

• Experienced in working alongside Legal and Operations teams to uphold compliance, risk management, and audit standards.
