Customer Support - Firmware Specialist

Role Overview This is a fully remote position with occasional travel requirements, reporting directly to the Director of Business Development for firmware. The role involves hands-on technical work and customer interaction to ensure the effective implementation and optimization of Luxor's Firmware product (LuxOS).
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance to customers, ensuring their needs are met in a prompt and professional manner.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation related to firmware installation, feature sets, and troubleshooting.
- Engage with Luxor's APIs to meet client-defined technical requirements.
- Implement and optimize LuxOS across mining fleets, offering specialized knowledge around product features.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct firmware installations and optimizations remotely and through on-site deployments.
Requirements
- Passion for customer service and iteration, with the ability to liaise between external customers and internal engineering and product teams.
- In-depth knowledge of firmware technologies.
- Proficiency in Python and bash scripting, with experience in navigating Linux terminals.
- Skill in VPN configuration for remote access and installation.
- Interest and experience in Bitcoin mining hardware, particularly ASICs and troubleshooting.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently.
