The Telos Network is a third generation blockchain network, supporting C++ and solidty based applications. Telos has native eos.io based blockchain and an EVM solution, both which offer high throughput and low fees.
You will act as a key contributor to the Telos Core Development team. Your proven development skills and structured approach will be a key building block for the growth and evolution of the Telos Blockchain and EVM. A major task will be contribution to the new systems design and architecture of Telos EVM 2.0 / RPC 2.0, work on improving the fastest EVM available! We are currently utilizing multiple, best of breed technologies, including C++, nodeJS, typescript and elasticsearch. For our upcoming projects, you will help us in selecting the most suitable technology to develop cutting edge solutions, for example golang/badgerdb.
We are searching professionals, that are looking for a new challenge and be part of Telos, one of the spearheads of web3. It is expected that you are an experienced blockchain developer with proven track record in other projects. Able to work hands on in our EVM and Telos Native projects, alongside our internal and external development teams and open source community.
What you will do:
- Work closely with the Telos Core Developers and outside resources
- Actively develop / build core blockchain infrastructure including RPCs, history nodes and smart contracts
- Assure high quality documentation of your work (GitHub, GitBook, etc.)
- Become fluent across the full stack of Telos products and supporting platforms and services
- Contribute to resolution of 2nd and 3rd level support to resolve bugs and user issues
- Establish awareness of our developer community needs to ensure that our delivered products exceed expectations
- Occasionally act as an advisor and liaison to developers participating in hackathons and our Telos Ignite grant program
- As needed, work directly with dAPP technical resources to assist in onboarding and launch process and coordinate technical requirements
Skills and Experience You Have:
- 5+ years' experience working as a software engineer or engineering-focused developer
- Experience with EVM based blockchains is mandatory
- Familiar with existing go-ethereum/erigon clients and The Graph
- Comfortable with Linux systems management and performance as well as open source tools
- Polyglot, familiar with multiple programing languages, comfortable learning additional languages to resolve new challenges
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment as a self-starter is a must
- Knowledge of agile software development methodology and tools (Jira/Confluence) is a plus
