Graphic Design Intern

We work closely with stakeholders to understand user needs and market trends. We collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the Product, Sales, and Marketing teams so even though we are a small (but growing) Design team, you will have every chance to make a big impact.The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our growing Design team as an intern. This role will provide you with hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of fintech and crypto media, allowing you to refine your design skills and gain a deeper understanding of this rapidly evolving industry. You will work closely with the Design team to understand our brand tone-of-voice and work with existing styles and templates to create a library of dynamic graphics to be used in online topical features and research pieces. As you begin to understand the brand and our existing aesthetic, you will be encouraged to inject your own perspective into the images you're producing.

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Design team to conceptualize and create visually compelling designs for our digital and print media channels.
• Help maintain brand consistency and ensure that all designs adhere to established guidelines.
• Assist in the development of graphics, illustrations, infographics, and other visual elements to enhance our content.
• Produce decks and research reports using existing templates.
• Support the Design team in creating engaging social media visuals, banner ads, and other promotional materials.
• Assist with photo editing, retouching, and optimizing images for various digital platforms.
• Provide general support to the Design team, including organizing and archiving digital assets and assisting with other design-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field, or recent graduate looking for practical experience.
• Proficient in graphic design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.
• Experience leveraging an image bank such as Shutterstock.
• Experience creating decks in Google Slides or Keynote is a plus.
• Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Solid understanding of design principles, including typography, layout, and color theory.
• Familiarity or interest in the fields of fintech and cryptocurrency is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills and accountability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take feedback and iterate on designs
