Job Summary

The Head of Business Development will lead and scale our international BD function, driving new client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and substantial revenue growth. Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will build and manage a high-performing team of BD professionals, own complex sales cycles for marketing services, and leverage your network to secure high-value contracts. This role requires proven senior leadership in agency/marketing services sales, deep expertise in consultative selling, and established connections in Europe and/or MENA (Dubai/UAE focus is a significant advantage). Ideal for a leader ready to shape our global expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, coach, and scale a team of Business Development executives (a team of 5 members, with rapid growth planned), setting aggressive targets, optimizing performance, and fostering a high-achieving culture.
  • Develop and implement aggressive business development strategies targeting high-value clients in Europe, MENA, and beyond, including market penetration, competitive differentiation, and pipeline acceleration.
  • Own the full new business acquisition process: prospecting and engaging varied-level executives, developing tailored proposals, leading pitches and negotiations, and closing six- and seven-figure marketing services contracts.
  • Cultivate and leverage a robust professional network to generate referrals, form strategic partnerships, and build alliances (e.g., with tech platforms, media outlets, complementary agencies, and influencers).
  • Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, delivery, and specialist teams to ensure proposals and solutions align with agency capabilities and deliver maximum client impact.
  • Monitor and report on critical metrics (lead generation, conversion rates, win rates, average deal size, revenue attribution); use insights to refine tactics and forecast performance.
  • Act as the agency's senior representative at key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities in Europe, Dubai/UAE, and other priority markets.
  • Stay ahead of trends in digital marketing, performance advertising, influencer/KOL strategies, content, SEO/SEM, AI tools, and Web3/crypto-specific growth tactics to maintain competitive positioning.

Required Qualifications & Experience (Essential/Non-Negotiable)

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in business development and sales within the marketing, advertising, digital agency, creative services, or Web3/crypto marketing sectors — direct experience selling marketing services is required.
  • Minimum 2+ years in a senior leadership role (Head/Director/VP level) leading sales or business development teams in a services/agency environment, with demonstrated success in recruiting, scaling teams, coaching consultative selling, and consistently achieving or exceeding ambitious revenue targets.
  • Strong domain expertise in full-funnel digital marketing, including brand strategy, performance campaigns, social/influencer marketing, content creation, SEO/SEM, and emerging trends (Web3/crypto marketing a strong plus).
  • Proven track record of personally closing and/or overseeing six- and seven-figure agency contracts, with a history of building long-term, high-value client relationships.
  • Established professional network in Europe and/or MENA regions (Dubai/UAE connections or experience highly advantageous).

  • Proficient in CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce preferred), sales enablement tools, and analytics/reporting systems.
  • Results-driven, entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable in dynamic, creative agency settings with high accountability.
  • Fluency in English
