Lead Business Development / Partnerships / Growth

Autonomy Network is a protocol for decentralized automation. Developers use Autonomy to automate actions and create better features for dApps. It allows anyone to make any arbitrary transaction and have it executed under some arbitrary condition in the future, even while the user is offline. For example, DEXes like Uniswap can add limit orders, stop losses, and impermanent loss protection. Borrowers can borrow on platforms like Compound and automatically close their position before it gets liquidated, saving the fees which can be as high as 12%. Creators can launch autonomous NFTs that transfer themselves in and out of wallets, without human input or running any servers.

Autonomy is infrastructure, similar to ChainLink (but for automation, not oracles), that is starting to disrupt DeFi and the NFT space. We're already live on ETH/BSC/MATIC/AVAX, about to launch on Solana and other non-EVM chains, and have live integrations at AutoSwap, SokuSwap, ApeSwap, and other much bigger DEXes such as SushiSwap and lending platforms that aren't public yet. Based in Switzerland, but we have a fully distributed team.

Job Description

We’re hiring a bizdev / partnerships lead to lead a small team that identifies potential dapps/partners that would benefit from integrating Autonomy, finds a way to get connected to them, and manages the relationship to help support them integrating Autonomy in a B2B way. This role is to lead that team and will initially be leading 1-2 other bizdev with the potential to expand it in the future, and you will have major freedom to structure this team as you like. The partnerships role will essentially involve the following;

Responsibilities:

  • Reaching out to key projects in the decentralized verticals where Autonomy can be utilized as a solution
  • Keeping yourself up-to-date on the latest activities in Web3 circles relevant to Autonomy and understanding the larger web3 automation landscape- Managing relationships with existing partners and keeping a keen eye on new collaboration potential with them- Going to conferences with the founders or alone to meet potential or existing partners
  • Managing 1-2 other bizdev teammates, e.g. who do research to come up with lists of potential partners or help you reach out to potential partners or manage relationships

Requirements:

  • By far the most important is drive and hustle, to be constantly trying to find new avenues for partnerships on your own. You must be the kind of person who always manages to find a way to get in to a sold out event, for example
  • Admirable level of understanding of the crypto industry (DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, are you a degen?)
  • 2+ years of overall experience in a partnerships role, doesn't have to be web3, though web3 is ideal
  • Experience in closing high value Web3 partnerships
  • Experience with management of leads using a CRM
  • Great verbal and written communication skills in english

Bonus:

  • Experience with DeFi or Blockchain Infrastructure projects in particular
  • Proven work history of successful technical integration based collaborations
  • Established contacts in DeFi, NFT and Web3 Gaming
  • General technical knowledge
