Job Description
The Marketing Consultant will play a pivotal role in both driving Cartan's external marketing consulting services and addressing our internal marketing needs. This dual-focus position demands exceptional communication and project management skills, coupled with a deep understanding of our brand and industry dynamics.
Externally, the Marketing Consultant will spearhead the development of creative strategies and concepts tailored to our clients' marketing and advertising initiatives. They will ensure that all creative executions not only adhere to Cartanās brand guidelines but also meet or exceed client expectations. This role requires innovative thinking and the ability to deliver unique ideas that distinguish our clients in their respective markets. The consultant will manage the entire process from ideation to execution, guaranteeing timely and effective implementation.
Internally, the Marketing Consultant will guide the creative direction of Cartan's marketing and communications efforts. This includes generating and overseeing the execution of marketing ideas that resonate with our target audience and align with our business goals. The consultant will also support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and contributing to proposals that expand Cartan's client base.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Marketing Consultant will manage creative teams and external stakeholders, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time and within budget. This comprehensive role is crucial in solidifying Cartanās reputation as a leading marketing consultancy while simultaneously bolstering our own brand presence.
Job Responsibilities
- Create marketing strategies and develop and execute creative concepts, ideas, and production of marketing and advertising initiatives that are proven to drive results
- Preserve a level of professionalism by ensuring that all creative work is of the highest quality and meets industry standards
- Develop marketing campaigns that translate objectives across business units into clear and motivating creative strategies
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, collaborating with the team to prepare proposals and presentations that effectively communicate Cartan's value to potential clients
- Track, measure and analyse marketing initiatives to determine levels of engagement, organic growth and return on investment
- Direct brainstorming meetings and creative sessions applying strategic thinking to develop innovative and actionable initiatives in a fiscally responsible manner
- Explore and recommended new creative tools that can assist in problem-solving, idea generation, and ultimately enhancing the workflow
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices
- Ensure visual identity of the company is upheld throughout all marketing materials both internal and external
- Apply Adobe Creative Cloud knowledge to assist create and edit both graphics and video editing
- Apply Visual Studio Code knowledge to assist in keeping websites up to date
- Lead special projects and carry out any other duties which may be required from time to time
External Client Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to the Web3 space, focusing on blockchain technology, decentralised applications (dApps), and cryptocurrencies.
- Create and manage content that educates and engages the Web3 community, including blog posts, social media updates, and newsletters.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive analysis specific to the blockchain and Web3 industry.
- Coordinate and promote events such as webinars, AMAs (Ask Me Anything), and conferences that cater to the Web3 audience.
- Build and nurture relationships with influencers, partners, and media outlets within the Web3 ecosystem.
- Manage PR and communications for external clients
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Job Experience Requirements
- Bachelorās degree in marketing, communications or related field
- 7+ years of experience in Marketing and Communications
- Proven track record of developing successful creative concepts and ideas
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making and project management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard design tools
- Resilience under pressure and against deadlines
