With US$15m raised in venture funding, and over US$6m in revenue from our genesis sale we are very well positioned to leverage our first-mover advantage globally and make ownership of in-game assets go mainstream.
Our first title, Gods Unchained, is already the number one blockchain game in terms of players, revenue and secondary asset trading. In fact, Gods Unchained has issued more in-game assets than all other blockchain games, put together.. More games are set to join the platform in 2020.

Come and join us as we pioneer in this space!A bit about the role:Due to exciting expansion, we are now seeking a Marketing Manager to help lead our growth and expansion through Japan. In this role, you will have a strong understanding of regional channels, as well as the local market, with the ability to localise and implement our global marketing strategies. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to be our first Marketing hire in Japan and to have a significant impact on the future success of Immutable!
You will have the opportunity to:
- Translate and publish content produced in Sydney to the local market
- Execute "hub and spoke" model marketing, focusing primarily on localizing global marketing strategies, messaging and content
- Provide local language marketing support, execute marketing strategy and build market awareness in local channels
- Manage local social media and community channels
- Establish and strengthen relationships with local stakeholders, such as journalists, community leaders, key opinion leaders, and others
- Collaborate with BD and SE leads, focusing on minimizing language and cultural issues and potential deal churn
- Ensure presence and participation in key events and meetings with key customers
We would love you to have:
- Fluency in both Japanese and English and experience in working with partners and tech leads in a diverse language environment.
- Solid understanding of the Japanese market and its key social platforms
- Experience in community building and management
- Proven track record in managing and executing marketing initiatives and campaigns
- Ability to build relationships with local stakeholders
- Experience working in either a Web3 AND/OR gaming company
Some extra skills that would be awesome
- Web3 native
- Prior experience in a similar role
