Concordium is seeking a PR & Event Manager to develop and execute a global communication plan that supports the achievement of Concordiums public relations and event objects in order to increase brand equity with our press agent, and event appearances. On the PR side, we work with one of the best press agents in the business. We need a communications expert to take internal announcements, create press releases, and strategize with our agents on getting press out to the newswire and supporting the creation of pitches for op-eds and comment opportunities. On the event side, we need someone to book and manage our speaker appearances, sponsorships, and digital attendance for everything from webinars, AMAs, hackathons, and physical events.
You will support the commercial team with end-to-end PR support ensuring that every new project or partner is supported with PR, that details the collaboration between Concordium. Your job is to sell the vision of why a new project coming to Concordium is so important, why a partnership with an enterprise is so significant, and why people should pay attention to what we are doing in blockchain. As a storyteller, your PR and event activities will drive audience engagement, where your multitasking skills, and creative way of thinking, will help the world better understand our brand from the press and events you create. Designing, planning, and executing a full PR and event schedule, there will be enough structure for anyone to view the dinner details and flexible enough for new announcements.
We’re looking for someone extremely passionate about crypto, DeFi, and blockchain, to genuinely and authentically drive interest to our chain through the work you produce, fueling an ecosystem of thriving projects from the best developers in the community, and the biggest brands in the world. You will be working with the brand and commercial team to ensure Concordium is known as a leader in the space, demonstrating the enormous opportunity to become a first mover and build on our chain.
Your job will be to:
PR Management
- Lead a global PR strategy internally and in unison with our press agency to build consistent editorial plans for product launches, new campaigns, and events to ensure clear and consistent media coverage.
- Lead PR content development and own all media assets including imagery, press releases, key messages, storytelling/feature/pitch packages.
- Design compelling stories and develop diversified asset packages to maximize coverage opportunities, including press pitches with our press agent.
- Build the brand in PR through creating new pitches based on trends, speaker opportunities, and announcements.
- Co-ordinate quotes needed for press releases such as our founder, management, project, or partners we release press around.
- Work with the marketing team, and influencers to have a clear and consistent brand message in each campaign.
Events Management
- Research, book, and manage all flights, hotels, and experiences for physical events.
- Coordinate the entire process for speakers when attending events, such as their schedules, curriculum for hackathons in conjunction with hackathon event companies, and other events.
- Manage budgets.
We are looking for:
- Experienced PR & Event manager from the crypto space, specializing in crypto/blockchain focus industry.
- A proven track record of both PR and event management with crypto/blockchain projects.
- Someone with a solid understanding of the crypto industry, terminology, and culture.
Individuals that have successfully and authentically created press and managed events that drove awareness for anything in DeFi, layer ones, NFTs, ICOs, and more.
