Product Operations Lead

As the Product Operations Lead, your mission will be to empower product teams to deliver value to customers rapidly and efficiently. You will build the foundation of the product operations team, with the goal to improve product velocity, documentation and cross-functional communications.

You will

• Prepare plans and document processes to ensure the operations and other cross-functional teams are ready to support any planned product update or release 
• Maintain and evolve the product map, a source of truth on the Shakepay offering mapped to internal supporting teams and important context
• Advance progress as an inter-team liaison, focused on rigorous note-taking to document decisions, establish accountability and involve subject matter experts across the organization 
• Write and socialize opportunity briefs, identifying high impact projects leveraging operational insights
• Maintain project trackers as a source of truth of all projects, resourcing plans and prioritization. 

Must have

• Minimum 5 years of experience in product operations, product management or strategy & operations roles, ideally in a fast growing environment
• Experience in project management and execute complex initiatives involving many cross-functional stakeholders
• Comfortable leveraging quantitative and qualitative data to provide product recommendations
• Experience mentoring and assisting junior team members 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor a message to different audiences

Nice to have

• Experience in the fintech or crypto industry
• Experience with SQL
