Chainlabs is a data startup focused on de-anonymising the blockchain. We are the largest data labels broker in the web3 space. We make web3 safer by identifying blockchain addresses linked to cybercrime activities.

Our primary clients include web3 analytics companies such as Nansen, as well as law enforcement, traders, and academic researchers.

The Mission

This is not a typical SDR role. You’ll begin with outbound lead generation and early-stage client conversations, but you’ll also roll up your sleeves and get involved in on-chain analytics research, labelling projects, and client delivery follow-through.

Your mission is twofold:

  1. Initiate and qualify high-intent leads where our labelled wallet data (for compliance, trading, or intelligence) fits.
  2. Embed yourself in our operations so you understand our products deeply enough to eventually scope, quote, and manage projects directly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead generation & outreachResearch and contact organisations already working with on-chain data and wallet labels.
  • Book qualified meetings for the CEO with clear notes on needs and context.
  • Track outreach in Pipedrive and maintain client threads in Slack.
  • Project Management & AnalyticsWork with engineers to fulfil client-specific data requests.
  • Run basic SQL queries and prepare datasets for client review.
  • Build simple data visualisations (e.g., charts, dashboards) for presentations or blog posts.
  • Participate in labelling and on-chain analytics projects to deepen product knowledge.
  • Follow through with clients during onboarding and delivery.

  • Assist in preparing data samples and client-specific research.
  • Content & thought leadershipWrite short blog posts or case studies on analytics research done inside Chainlabs.
  • Suggest outreach campaigns for verticals like compliance, trading, or regulatory bodies.

Success Looks Like

  • Month 1–2: Consistently book qualified meetings and understand core use cases for our labelled data.
  • Month 3–6: Contribute meaningfully to labelling projects, onboarding tasks, and client follow-up.
  • Month 6+: Confidently scope and quote smaller deals, working towards a hybrid AE/PM role.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 1–3 years in B2B sales, project coordination, or a hybrid business/tech role.
  • Technical comfort: Basic SQL querying, using data visualisation tools, and interpreting blockchain datasets (or ability to learn quickly).
  • Crypto-literate: Familiarity with on-chain analytics platforms and blockchain fundamentals.
  • Hands-on: Willing to dive into operational tasks and data work, not just sit in sales calls.
  • Communicator: Can distill complex technical details into clear internal action items.
  • Adaptable: Thrives in ambiguity and a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Proactive & resourceful: Street-smart, hungry to learn, and able to take initiative without heavy supervision.
