Research Analyst (Remote) - Job Description

Sino Global Capital (SGC) is an emerging markets focused venture capital firm specializing in digital assets and the Web3 space. As rising markets specialists, SGC is looking for a highly organized and diligent blockchain-obsessed self-starter to serve as a research analyst. 

Job Description:

This role will link two critical functions within the organization by:

1. Identifying, evaluating and contributing to SGC’s active research initiatives and;
2. Bridging and translating those projects into various forms of content across different engagement channels within the media team framework.

We’re on the lookout for a successful candidate who has strong project management skills to coordinate with teammates on research publications and is an active participant in trending crypto community discussions. The ideal candidate understands the value of multifaceted storytelling in shaping the global crypto narrative and knows how to market content for maximum impact.

Responsibilities:

• Engaging with the crypto community on social media in a productive, positive way that furthers our reputation as technical leaders in the space
• Research and share briefings on markets and significant events pertaining to the crypto space
• Collaborating with research and investment teams to design and manage research campaigns from ideation to marketing execution
• Identify, assign and edit stories focused on crypto markets and trends
• Manage multiple research and marketing projects of varying complexity and prioritization

Requirements: 

• Minimum 2-3 years of professional writing with ability to craft high quality, well-written documents 
• Project management skills to plan publication campaigns and coordinate responsibilities with teammates in a timely manner
• Pulse on the crypto market, actively following the latest trends and community discussions on social media
• Ability to aggregate information from variety of sources in order to deliver upon a research and marketing campaign
• Able to explain complex concepts in simple terms to a non-technical audience
• Clear and concise communication both online and offline
• An open minded research approach and genuine intellectual curiosity
• Adaptability in rapidly changing circumstances
• You know crypto and fintech in and out, plus how it fits into the broader markets and investing worlds
• You know SEO best practices in and out and how they relate to different story types 
• Self-management: Competitive and self-motivated. You’re known for never dropping the ball, always keeping your eyes on the target and delivering results under pressure
• Leadership: You lead from any seat, even if not directly supervising people
