Senior Community Growth Manager

A vital part of our mission involves nurturing a vibrant, engaged, and knowledgeable global community. We're seeking a Project Manager for community engagement programs including the Stellar Ambassador Program to take ownership of day-to-day program operations, drive strategic improvements, and foster deeper connections between the Stellar community, ecosystem and the Stellar Development Foundation.

In this role, you will:

• Program Operations Management: Oversee and manage all operational aspects of community programs, including data management, tracking community activities, and ensuring smooth execution of program deliverables. You’ll work to streamline workflows and maintain accurate program records.
• Community Support and Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for relevant community stakeholders, providing resources, guidance, and timely support to enable their success in representing Stellar globally.
• Regional Coordination: Support developing strategies to address regional needs within the program, such as language and cultural considerations. This includes supporting relevant community stakeholders on region-specific activities in LATAM, Asia, and other key regions.
• Collaboration Across Teams: Coordinate with legal, marketing, ecosystem, and finance teams to ensure alignment and compliance in all program activities, including contracts, KYC, and payments. Foster strong internal relationships to enhance program effectiveness.
• Resource Development: Maintain and update program resources such as handbooks, rules and guidelines, and collaborate with relevant teams to update educational resources. Work to improve clarity, usability, and accessibility for relevant community stakeholders.
• Recruitment and Onboarding: Enhance efforts to attract, vet, and onboard new relevant community stakeholders to programs, ensuring alignment with program goals and Stellar’s mission.
• Performance Metrics and Reporting: Implement tools and processes to track program metrics, such as regional activity, event impact, and community engagement. Use these insights to evaluate program success and propose iterative improvements.
• Strategic Program Development: Collaborate with internal teams to align community programs with broader Stellar initiatives, such as the Stellar Community Fund, and identify opportunities for cross-program collaboration and innovation.

You have:

• Program Management Experience: Proven experience managing large-scale programs, preferably with a focus on community initiatives. Existing experience with operational tools such as Airtable and Discord would be great.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences, from community members to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Exceptional Organizational Skills: Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and processes are followed.
• Community-Driven Mindset: A passion for empowering communities and supporting grassroots efforts, with an ability to balance community needs with organizational objectives.
• Cultural Competency: Awareness of and sensitivity to regional differences to effectively address diverse needs and challenges.
• Problem-Solving and Adaptability: A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to addressing challenges as they arise, with a willingness to iterate and improve processes over time.

Bonus points:

• Familiarity with Blockchain and Stellar (nice to have): Knowledge of blockchain technology and the Stellar ecosystem is highly desirable, enabling you to better connect with the Stellar community and support the program’s goals.

We offer competitive pay with a base salary range for this position of $125,000 - $175,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, we offer lumen-denominated grants along with the following perks and benefits:
