We also offer relocation packages to Australia!A bit about the role:As a Solidity Engineer at Immutable, you will have the opportunity to design and build the future of game asset ownership. We enable game developers to give millions of players access to Ethereum-backed in-game items and add decentralised features around these items to make them fully-fledged assets. Also, with our recently announced partnership between Immutable X and Polygon, we are essentially the biggest players in the Ethereum gaming space. Engineers working on Immutable zkEVM get exposure to a wide range of standards and use cases to help our partners achieve their goals.We are able to hire engineers across the Asia Pacific and West Coast (US). If you are not within any of these regions but may be flexible to relocate, please do let us know as well!

You will have the opportunity to:

• Continually develop your expertise in Web3
• Coach, teach, and mentor others on Web3 fundamentals
• Work across a range of bleeding-edge technologies: Go, React, AWS, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Microservices, Event Oriented Systems, Terraform, exposure to Blockchain Development - Solidity and Cairo
• Be part of a collaborative team environment
• Participate in team planning and product design sessions
• Help estimate and prioritise proposed features
• Work in an experimental environment, learning from customer feedback and iterating on products
• Work closely with your team members to ensure operational excellence for the services your team owns
• Continually work with your team to iterate on ways of working

We would love you to have:

• Hands-on smart contract development experience using Solidity with TypeScript tests
• Experience creating wrappers around your work while helping others integrate them into their products
• The ability to articulate your blockchain knowledge and teach best practices to the wider team
• Effective communication skills, with empathy, allowing you to communicate effectively across a range of stakeholders, and to collaborate with product teams.

Some extra skills that would be awesome:

• Experience or knowledge of Golang or Rust
