Who You Are:

This position is the Head of Marketing for one of Galaxy’s exciting new business initiatives. You’ll lead the strategy and execution of marketing efforts for customer acquisition and engagement and will partner with an existing team of talented marketing professionals, collaborate with cross-functional leaders, and craft compelling narratives that resonate with the target customer base. Your role will blend creative vision with data-driven decision-making to position Galaxy’s new product offering as a leader in the space.

This is a unique opportunity to join a leading innovator in the digital asset ecosystem, to launch a new technology product, and help expand Galaxy’s platform and product offering in the US and globally.

You will be responsible for developing and executing a marketing strategy that aligns with the overall business goals. You will manage and oversee all aspects of marketing within the new business unit and build the foundation for our next phase of growth and team expansion.

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong understanding of digital marketing and B2C marketing, as well as experience in traditional finance and a strong understanding of the digital asset space. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You understand how to leverage AI to maximize productivity. You are highly analytical, with the ability to use data to drive marketing decisions and improve campaign performance.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that amplifies the product offering across digital, traditional, and event-based channels.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
• Collaborate with product, client services, and executive teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals and customer needs.
• Oversee the creation of high-impact campaigns, thought leadership content, and messaging that educates and engages target audiences in the fintech and crypto sectors.
• Leverage data and analytics to measure campaign performance, optimize strategies, and drive measurable growth in brand equity and customer acquisition.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing technologies to ensure Galaxy remains a trailblazer in the space.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role in the finance or crypto industry.
• Proven track record of building and scaling successful marketing strategies in fast-paced, innovative industries.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand management, and customer engagement tactics.
• Experience with data-driven marketing and proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, CRM platforms, or marketing automation software (i.e. Hubspot).

Bonus Points:

• Prior experience working in a startup, taking a product from zero to one.
• Strong understanding of the power of AI within marketing

The base salary ranges included below will be commensurate with candidate experience, expertise and local market. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. At Galaxy, we maintain a total compensation philosophy which consists of a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and equity incentives.

Base Salary Range$150,000—$200,000 USD
