As the Chiliz Senior Social Media Manager, you will oversee the full social media ecosystem for one of the most disruptive brands at the intersection of Sports, Crypto, and Web3. This is a senior role with strategic ownership and creative influence across every channel where Chiliz shows up.
You’ll shape the voice, direction, and cultural relevance of the brand, setting the strategy, guiding execution, and ensuring every post pushes the brand forward. From defining the long-term vision to amplifying high-stakes real-time moments, your work will speak to builders, founders, traders, fans, sports brands, creators, and innovators.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Social Media Strategy
- Own and execute the global Chiliz social media strategy across X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Translate brand and business objectives into clear channel priorities, content pillars, and platform-first storytelling.
Content Leadership
- Lead the creation of high-impact organic content across text, image, and video formats.
- Craft compelling copy and direct creative executions that speak authentically to sports, crypto, and Web3 audiences.
- Brief and collaborate with the design and video teams to deliver standout social-first assets.
Community & Cultural Relevance
- Shape and maintain a strong, engaged community through active dialogue, sharp responses, and culture-aware communication.
- Identify opportunities for reactive content, trend-jacking, and real-time storytelling that elevate brand visibility.
Trendspotting & Cultural Intelligence
- Monitor platform shifts, algorithm updates, cultural moments, and social behaviours- using them to drive relevance and growth.
- Bring insights that translate into fresh content formats, new series, and experimentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with brand, campaigns, video, design, partnerships, and product teams to ensure alignment across all content.
- Support amplification of launches, events, announcements, and key company moments.
Web3 & Sports Expertise
- Communicate Chiliz Chain, Fan Tokens, developers, and Web3 concepts clearly and engagingly.
- Ensure every message simplifies the tech and amplifies the excitement.
Performance Optimisation
- Monitor KPIs, track analytics, and generate insights that inform ongoing strategy and content decisions.
- Test, learn, iterate, and refine to maximise impact across every platform.
Hands-On Excellence
- Step in with basic editing abilities for quick-turn content when speed matters.
- Maintain high creative standards even in fast-paced moments.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Support and guide other team members, contributing to an elevated and collaborative social media function.
Key Requirements:
- 3–6+ years of proven experience managing social media for high-growth brands or fast-moving industries.
- 1+ years of experience working within the cryptocurrency industry or a strong demonstrable interest and understanding of the crypto space.
- Proven ability to build and execute a global social media strategy aligned with brand, product, and campaign objectives.
- Strong understanding of audience segmentation, platform behaviours, and content formats across X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels.
- Experience turning brand positioning into scalable social storytelling.
- High-level taste and creative judgement for social-first content.
- Ability to brief design, copy, and video teams to produce platform-native assets that drive engagement and share ability.
- Strong copywriting skills for short-form, high-impact messaging.
- Ability to interpret analytics, identify patterns, optimise performance, and report insights clearly.
- Skilled in reactive content, trend-jacking, and real-time storytelling
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and constant experimentation.
- Ability to collaborate with brand, design, video, product, partnerships, and campaign teams to ensure alignment.
- Deep knowledge of sports culture, crypto/Web3 culture, and internet culture.
- Ability to speak authentically to global communities
- Up-to-date understanding of algorithms, platform updates, best-performing content types, and creator-driven trends.
- Strong organisational skills with experience running social calendars, content pipelines, and approvals in structured workflows.
- Fluency in English.
