This DevOps Engineer&rsquo;s primary focus will be mitigating technical issues and maintaining overall health of our core software systems.
AlphaPoint&rsquo;s back-end elements are built using dotnetcore, custom messaging mechanisms over multiple transport protocols, with customized persistence and storage mechanisms, all optimized for high-volume enterprise-class real-time access-controlled data processing. Our front-end elements are browser-based applications built using HTML and JavaScript. In this position, you will be exposed to the entire system stack and develop a rich understanding of both the system mechanisms and the application business domains. The Technical Operations Engineer will participate in the deployment, monitoring, and management of all AlphaPoint environments, including hardware, operating systems, custom software, and networking elements. The Technical Operations/DevOps Engineer will also participate in the development of the DevOps functions of the department and the continuous improvement of the company&rsquo;s SDLC practices.

Technical Operations Engineer

The AlphaPoint team is looking for a talented and passionate back end Engineer to develop our industry leading blockchain solutions and digital currency exchanges. We are looking for an individual who can deliver rapid, collaborative C#/Node.JS development in conjunction with our core C# developers to enhance our blockchain integration and custody offerings.
Job Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Develop new features and maintain existing features in core exchange platform</li>
<li>Own functionality and scalability features by taking responsibility from the inception deployment and customer integration</li>
<li>Diagnose and resolve system issues in production and external customer facing environments</li>
<li>Build integration libraries and SDKs to interface with the AlphaPoint platform APIs</li>
<li>Support maintaining and updating automated system testing and deployment framework</li>
</ul>

Required Skills &amp; Experience:
<ul>
<li>Strong capabilities in: C# and JavaScript (Typescript, NodeJS)</li>
<li>Experience with WebSocket&rsquo;s and streaming data and HTTP</li>
<li>Experience with distributed systems &amp; multi-threading</li>
<li>Experience with low latency/high throughput messaging systems</li>
<li>Passionate about rapid development and working with a fast-paced team.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Bitcoin, Blockchain, or Cryptocurrencies a plus.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of payment systems and financial trading systems.</li>
<li>Object-oriented design and secure coding practices.</li>
<li>Security first mindset</li>
<li>Strong unit and functional testing and debugging skills</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving skill &amp; complexity analysis</li>
